Why Oostadoo Is the Best Platform to Find a Tutor in the UAE

Oostadoo is a Dubai-based tutoring marketplace built specifically for families in the UAE. Every tutor is verified with Emirates ID and professional qualifications before their first lesson, lessons are available both online and in-person across Dubai and other emirates, and the platform covers every major curriculum taught in UAE schools - British, IB, American, French, CBSE, and UAE Ministry. Here is what that means in practice, and how it compares to alternatives.

1. Every Tutor Is Actually Verified

Before a tutor can accept a single booking on Oostadoo, their Emirates ID and professional qualifications are checked. Many tutoring marketplaces operating in the UAE skip this step and leave verification entirely to parent reviews after the fact. On Oostadoo, verification happens before the first lesson, not after a problem.

2. Online and In-Person, Your Choice

Oostadoo tutors are available for video lessons anywhere, and for home visits in Dubai Marina, JLT, Downtown Dubai, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah, Arabian Ranches, Abu Dhabi, Al Reem Island, and Sharjah. Several competing platforms in the region are online-only.

3. Every Major UAE Curriculum, Covered Properly

British: IGCSE, GCSE, A-Level
IB: Higher Level and Standard Level, across subject groups
American: AP, SAT
French: Baccalauréat, CNED, AEFE
Indian: CBSE
UAE Ministry of Education curriculum

4. Secure Payment, No Cash Handling

Payments are processed through Stripe rather than cash or direct bank transfer, which is still common with informal tutoring arrangements in the region. This means a clear record of every payment and protection if a lesson doesn't happen as agreed.

5. Message Before You Book

Parents can message a tutor directly to ask about availability, teaching style, or experience with a specific exam board before committing to a paid lesson.

6. A Real, Registered UAE Company

Oostadoo is operated by The Red Circle LLC, registered in Dubai under Trade License 1239498 - not an anonymous listings site or an offshore operation. Support is UAE-based.
